Benign Land is a short, dreamlike experience where you embark on a metaphysical journey into Ireland’s subconscious past. Drift through and explore haunting scenes from pagan times to recent historical events, revolving around the Troubles of NI. Unfold an abstract symbolical narrative.

Developed independently by artist and game developer Leandros Ntolas,  published by AFTERNATURE productions.

Benign Land was a core part of a site-specific art installation with the same title, presented in Belfast, Northern Ireland, as part of the contemporary art festival Red Sky at Night. The work was commissioned by non-profit organisation Household Belfast, and was funded by the British Council of Northern Ireland, and the Mondrian Fund.
